Telecommunications - Telemarketer - Cambridge Area - £18,000

My client is currently looking for an experienced and target driven telemarketer to join their growing sales team. The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of working within the network, data, voice, cloud & AV sector. This is a great opportunity within a large, well respected and growing telecoms company with fantastic career progression opportunities. The main purpose of the role will be booking appointments for external sales team to discuss services and solutions.

Key responsibilities

You will be calling the potential client from our CRM system, to obtain qualifying information on current communication services e.g. number of services, current spends, current provider, and contract expiry dates. This is the initial fact finding stage where you will build your own pipeline.

* You will also fact find on the current IT structure, provision of anti-virus/ransomware security, recovery and resilience.
* The role is to fact find, nurture and develop - to understand requirements in order to maximise appointment opportunities.
* Your goal is to book appointments for our external business specialists to attend, to discuss and expand on opportunities, to grow the business.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

* The ideal candidate will have telemarketing experience, working in a B2B sales environment.
* Excellent IT skills, including data entry.
* Solution focused and have a flexible approach to problem solving
* Ability to prioritise own workload.
* Experience working within the network, data, voice, cloud & AV sector would be a great advantage, though not essential, as full training will be given.
