An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join one of the largest hard service providers in the UK. This is a Midlands based role with a Basic of up to £80,000 Per Annum + car allowance with excellent Package and Benefits on offer.

Working for one of the leading facilities service providers you will be responsible for the Technical & Engineering management of a healthcare account covering the midlands area. This is a senior level opportunity for an experienced individual with a proven track record in Operational Management and a background in M&E hard services.

Job Role:

·Develop and manage strategic relationships

·Lead the development and review of Business strategy

·Play a lead role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of the built and natural environment.

·Develops business plans to support the strategic direction and vision.

·Responsible for operational delivery and growth

·Sets functional goals and objectives

·Establishes and sustains key client and sector relationships to support the business plan

·Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards

·Accountable for financial performance and risk management

·Responsible for adherence to Governance standards

·Ensuring compliance with relevant financial policy and standards

·Sets budgets and ensures compliance

·Formulates annual business and operational budgets

·Responsible for overall commercial decision-making

·Experience of working in strategic asset management in either public or private sector

·Experience of managing a team dealing with complex urban planning and design issues

·Experience of planning, programming and monitoring workloads and budgets

·Knowledge and understanding of effective performance management and staff development

·Demonstrable experience of operational optimisation and transformation

·Experience of value added networking

·Experience of business development

·The ability to set challenging targets to drive service performance and improvement

·Well-developed inter-personal & communication skills
