Our client, an innovative manufacturer in the middle of an aggressive period of investment and growth, seek to appoint a Project Manager. You will be a great organiser and communicator who can quickly get to the root of multi-disciplined problems. As Project Manager you will have hands-on engineering experience for a manufacturer, previous experience in a Project Manager / Product Manager style role, good commercial knowledge, great knowledge of project management tools and processes and be the person within the company that takes responsibility for ensuring all tasks required for the successful completion of the project are completed on time and on budget.

Project Manager - Roles and Responsibilities - Product Manager / R&D / Design / Commercial

* Collating and presenting project data in a clear way for communication to stakeholders at all levels
* Organising regular project and team meetings. Capturing and communicating meeting notes and actions and following up on action items with responsible owners
* Focusing teams on project milestones and unblocking technical issues by pulling together cross-functional technical expert
* Participating in technical discussions, asking probing questions, and working with the team to pull together scoping, schedules, and solutions to issues
* Proposing, collecting and analysing metrics to foresee trends, and correct course appropriately
* Driving lessons-learnt activities and product improvements over time

Project Manager - Skills and Abilities - Product Manager / R&D / Design / Commercial

* Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities/projects, priorities, and people in a fast-paced, high-growth, results-driven environment
* Understands and can manage Engineering development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
* A recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM etc.) is preferred alongside a good level of experience in a Project Manager / Product Manager role
* Formal engineering (or related discipline) qualification an advantage
* Great leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
* Self-motivated and proactive; demonstrated drive for success and a passion for growth and development, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
