UI/UX Designer, up to £47k

This is a superb opportunity for a UI/UX Designer with experience of developing complex Web UI`s to join this global, blue chip, fast growing, multiple award winning, Software Solutions Company.

Responsibilities and duties include:

- Designing the user experience for new products and enhancements to existing products.
- Complete all steps in the product design process from conceptualization, detailed user interface, functional design, through implementation and usability review.
- Develop innovative user interface designs in response to marketing requirements, user analyses, product innovation, technology, and business needs.
- Develop conceptual models, personas, workflows, design prototypes, and user interface specifications.
- Present and explain complex concepts, designs and interaction models to a variety of audiences.
- Conceive, set, and implement user interface guidelines and standards, ensuring that these guidelines are followed during the development and maintenance of the product.
- Present design concepts and negotiate with stakeholders to arrive at a design that supports both the business and a strong user experience.
- Work with other designers on large-scale design efforts.
- Follow company and global design standards and apply these to designs.
- Provide accessible designs that are responsive to required form-factors and users with usability difficulties.
- Evangelize usability, simplicity and high quality design.
- The role may, on occasion, require you to travel across the UK, Europe and rest of the world.

Essential skills and experience include:

- Bachelors, Masters, PhD or HND in subjects such as Computer Science, User Experience Design, Software Engineering or related subjects or equivalent qualification / experience
- A proven track record in UX design
- Designing, building and testing interactive prototypes
- Experience of graphical packages such as Sketch, Photoshop and Axure
- Development of user personas and scenarios
- Creation and documentation of layout patterns and navigation systems
- Working in an Agile Environment
- Web Application Programming
- Client technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
- Proven commercial project experience, preferable in a relevant business vertical domain
- Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Fluency in business English (written and spoken)
