Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a fantastic local charity head officed in Huddersfield.

This organisation is looking for a Finance Manager to work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations to lead a small team whilst managing the general finance function.

This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive and forward thinking organisation.

The Finance Manager will be crucial in leading and efficiently managing the finance department. The key responsibilities include:

*Preparation and reporting of statutory accounts and year end processes
*Budgeting and forecasting responsibilities
*Managing the finance team and improving effectiveness, development and overall mentoring of the team members
*Ensuring all efficiency within system process
*Business partnering with senior management, colleagues and trustees

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant. You will have experience of leading a year end process and producing statutory reports. You will also have effective business partnering skills and management accounts experience.

Experience of working within a charity will be useful as well as experience of using Great Plains. The successful candidate will provide proactive leadership to an extremely high performing team and deliver outstanding results to achieve success.
