A brilliant opportunity has arisen to play an integral role in the successful running of a busy Administration department.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £22,000 - £30,000 (including bonuses payable)
Locations: Newcastle with occasional travel around North East

Having strong leadership skills, your focus will be on the day to day management and personal development of a client administration team within a Financial Services Regulatory environment. It will be your role to understand and respond to issues arising from team members, working closely with additional departments including operations, sales and compliance to resolve. This overall responsibility will unfold as follows:

- Managing the day to day activities of the client administration team, allocating duties so as to maximise performance and efficiency
- Implementing training and development plans for each team member through considered 1:1 meetings, appraisals and setting realistic objectives
- Monitoring SLAs to ensure that the team delivery work to Independent Financial Advisers and clients in a timely manner
- Ensuring that the client admin team operates in line with Financial Conduct Authority standards
- Consolidating performance with management teams so as to ensure business goals are achieved
- Managing and closing off complex queries from clients, advisers and colleagues in a timely and effective manner

In addition to the above, you will play a distinct role in direct client administration by ensuring that all client meetings, enquiries and subsequent dealing with clients are conducted professionally and in line with procedure. You will understand and apply all aspects of the firm's approach to Treating Customers Fairly, and in the event of any complaints, will ensure immediate reports are sent to Compliance.

All in all, you will play an integral role in the office operations, having strong coordination skills to boot. Experience as a Senior Administrator/Administration Team Leader within a Financial Services company is essential, as are strong leadership and management skills, the ability to motivate others and a strong track record in customer satisfaction.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has attained or will be studying toward their Level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisers.
