Our Government client is looking to recruit a Project Support Officer to join their team on a temp basis until March 2018. The rate of pay will be £11.54 per hour and the client is based in Solihull, very close to the train station and onsite parking is available.

You will be providing a support service to Project and Programme Managers to ensure that projects and programmes are delivered effectively and are managed efficiently in accordance with established quality standards and processes.

Duties include -
- Act as a initial point of contact, communicating and filtering information
- Provide comprehensive administration support to the project manager/team
- Research and compile information as well as analysing data and producing management reports
- Develop and maintain a strong customer focus

The ideal candidate will have the below skills and experience -
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Microsoft Office experience in particular Excel
- Ability to analyse information
- Must have problem solving skills
- Able to maintain own work load and use initiative
- Previous Project Support experience is essential
- Strong administration skills
- Prince2 qualification (desirable)
- Previous Government experience (desirable)
