Job Title: Head of Systems (SAP / FICO)

Location: High Wycombe, Marlow, Maidenhead, Hurley, Slough, Henley-on-Thames

Salary: Up to £75,000 (depending on experience) + 10% Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

Evolve Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Head of Systems (SAP / FICO)for our client who are a well-established, large, reputable organisation with a strong presence in its industry sector. This position requires the candidate to travel to the Marlow office at least four times a week and one day from home - our client covers all costs including accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the main interface to senior management in the area of finance
* Collaborate with European Business Leads and other IT managers
* Management, motivation and development of team members
* Map business requirements to company procedures and the current SAP Template or available SAP functions where applicable
* Support local change management
* Interact regularly with Management to communicate status on milestones and impacts of technical hurdles.

* Contribute to development and maintenance of overall project plans
* Develop and maintain team plans
* Provide guidance and support to IT consultants, developers, business analysts and business team members regarding:

* Method of working / Methodology
* General team strategies and approaches
* Standardized procedures (e.g. testing)

* Ensure business process design (business blueprint) close to SAP standard
* Offer options to implement business requirements with SAP standard methods and tools
* Ensure system design supports business processes

* Pro-actively manage testing of the system solution (SAP and subsystems interfaces)
* Manage scope
* Coordinate and pro-actively monitor all team related developments with Development team
* Coordinate stream activities with all other IT teams including but not limited to: Definition of authorizations and Batch Jobs, Conversion, Integration Testing, Training etc.
* Owner of functional/technical specifications and testing methodology guidelines
* Potentially management of own projects

Key Skills:

* Minimum of 5 years of wide-ranging experience in an ERP supported business environment including SAP ERP systems and/or SAP-BW or other Business Intelligence Software
* Possess SAP FI/CO expert configuration knowledge
* The ability to demonstrate deep understanding of an entire horizontal process chain
* Familiar with SAP ABAP Workbench, ABAP development skills preferred
* Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-orientated environment
* Line Management experience preferred
* Business Process analysis experience - must be able to demonstrate these skills as the role requires interaction with the business on a daily basis and also key stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills; ability to perform complex systems analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources, including root-cause analysis and issue resolution
* Ability to demonstrate and explain processes and technical subjects to business stake holders
* Process optimization/reengineering experience is favourable
* Able to work autonomously and effectively
* Keen attention to detail.
* Ability to handle multi-inputs and make the necessary decisions in a timeous manner
* Is target-orientated with a can do attitude
* Excellent communication skills and experience of working in an international team with multiple sites
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Willingness to travel
