The Role

We are a rapidly growing software development company looking for an experienced Project Manager to join and strengthen our delivery team in London, working on large-scale projects (£200k-£1m) across a range of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project work including definition, planning and resourcing.

Essentially, the candidate will have significant experience with software development and the software development lifecycle. You must understand formal methodologies (Prince2, Agile, SCRUM etc) and have experience managing the delivery of concurrent projects within budget, time and quality requirements. You will be part of a high-performing team, managing the relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and building rapport with key people.

• Communicate effectively with other departments within the company and facilitate collaboration between teams
• Ownership for the production of the project documentation
• Managing all risks & issues and communicating contingency plans to stakeholders
• Organise project team meetings
• Driving project requirements, liaising with project teams and senior stakeholders
• Monitoring project progress, managing and monitoring budgets and reporting accordingly
• Effectively create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities
• Participating in the delivery with oversight of the technical and functional solution
• Post-implementation project reviews
• Managing go-live planning

Qualifications and experience

• 2+ years’ strong project management experience within software development experience is key
• Experience of delivering systems development/implementation
• Prince 2 / PMI Practitioner, or equivalent
• Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent
• Experience working in an Agile environment is an advantage
