I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PHP developer to join one of the region's most high profile technology companies at their impressive head office in York.

The role itself is working as part of an experienced team on high level technical projects, developing complex web applications for use across the business. Within this role you will be a key player working on business-critical assignments across both the front and back end.

You will be working closely with both customers and project managers to successfully deliver new systems, whilst ensuring that individual requirements are met to the highest possible standards.

Key Skills include:

* Previous experience of developing responsive web-applications using PHP with modern MVC frameworks - Laravel or Cake PHP preferred.
* Any exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, prototype, jQuery, Ember.js Bootstrap etc…
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server
* Familiarity with working in a version controlled environment
* Strong communication skills and previous stakeholder/customer management would be highly desirable
