3rd Line Support Engineer – Permanent – Wembley - £35,000 - £42,000pa

Our Client, based in Wembley, is currently looking to recruit a 3rd Line Support Engineer on a permanent basis to support various external Clients across Retail and Media industries.

The successful individual with have strong 3rd Line Infrastructure support experience and will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They must also be flexible and be able to work out of hours, including weekends, when necessary.

Key responsibilities for the 3RD Line Support Engineer;

• Deliver 3rd and some 2nd line support to activities and duties
• Support across various technologies and applications including;
o Microsoft Servers 2008 and above
o SAN Storage
o Firewalls, routers & switches
o Networking – LAN and WAN
o VMWare
o Active Directory
o VOIP Telephony
o Citrix & Cisco Applications
• Attend meetings as required based on work being undertaken
• Escalate quality matters to team leader
• Assist fellow team members in identifying solutions to problems
• Able to work methodically and logically.
• Identifying and responding to calls in a professional manner.

Key Skills & experience for the 3RD Line Support Engineer:


• Strong infrastructure support experience to 3rd line level
• Ability to learn quickly and to follow processes
• Is able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Able to analyse, diagnose, troubleshoot problems, within set SLA`s
