Quantity Surveyor - Luton - £55,000-£62,000 + full benefits package incl Car/Car Allowance, Health Pension etc

Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience within commercial projects? Are you able to commute to multiple sites and control projects from start to finish? Are you looking for a growing business with a stable footing?

If the answer is yes, please read on as we currently have the pleasure in working with this main contractor seeking a permanent Quantity surveyor to join their team. Working on new build and refurbishment projects our client are seeking someone capable of growing with them. Due to the fast paced nature of the client, a customer focus and service led approach are key.

Responsibilities of the successful Quantity Surveyor includes:

* Working closely with tender and bid teams
* Advising on contracts and negotiations
* Ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to
* Driving customer satisfaction and ensuring high levels of quality
* Ensure the project and programme targets are met
* Maintain and coordinate all commercial reports required
* Ensure all subcontract issues are resolved including payments
* Take responsibility regarding health, safety and the environment
* Managing/agreeing valuations/variations
* Procuring subcontractors
* Cash flow forecasts

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor includes:

* Have a degree in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline)
* Have strong rounded experience working on a mix of commercial/retail/education/leisure projects
* Be commercially astute and have a keen eye for detail
