Our client is incredibly successful and well established in the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth they are recruiting for a Credit Control/Collections individual who can work with both UK and European business clients.

The Credit Control role will be based in a team of 5 who are incredibly friendly and supportive. The role is very customer focused and your main priority is to liaise with Business clients over the telephone and via email (languages not a necessity but would be an advantage). Main duties to include:
• UK Collections – calling and receiving calls from clients, emailing clients, taking payments, etc.
• Ensuring UK clients remain within credit limit, gain further information as required, reassessing credit limits
• Establish repayment methods over the telephone and via email with European counterparts
• Issue copy invoices
• Prepare and submit files
• Report any fraudulent activities to HO
• Prepare and send correspondence to European offices regarding overdue accounts
• Assist with any queries related to overdue accounts
• Respond to emails on a regular basis with regard to the business accounts across Europe
• Maintain customer records for UK and Europe
• Conduct monthly reviews of the ledgers
• Oversee any changes to customer accounts such as invoicing, payment terms, etc.
• Review of European accounts and increase credit limits where necessary
• Prepare regular reporting on Collections and Approvals
• Manage any escalated client complaints
• Respond to returned direct debits and secure alternative payment
• Work to set timescales

This role is very customer focused and is busy and varied. The ideal candidate will be a really confident communicator and have an assertive telephone manner. If you enjoy customer contact within a busy commercial environment and would like to progress your career this could be for you. An understanding of credit is required and you must have strong numeracy and analytical skills.
