The job in a nutshell

As the Business Analyst, you will be part of our rapidly growing in-house IT, Product and Software Development teams and will have the opportunity to develop your career and skills working within a dynamic environment and amongst a highly-motivated group of people leading the evolution of the automotive marketplace, working across fast-paced projects and key strategic initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders.

What you will be doing

- Capture and document functional and non-functional requirements for infrastructure systems and services.
- Ownership and creation of Business Requirements Documents for full lifecycle of projects.
- Ownership and creation of Requirements Traceability Matrix for full lifecycle of projects.
- Support the design and implementation of technology solutions.
- Testing and validation of IT solutions against requirements.
- Support the compilation of project charter and business cases.
- Collaborate closely with business users and IT stakeholders to understand any issues with current systems and processes, and document requirements arising.
- Manage change effectively by communicating with Project Management, IT & business stakeholders at all stages of the project life cycle 
- Work closely with technical teams during the implementation phases to ensure understanding, buy in and successful implementation of validated solutions  that meet requirements
- Meet challenging deadlines through collaboration and communication with stakeholders across the technical and business organisations.
- Provide support during all testing phases to ensure requirements as detailed in specification documents are delivered. 
- Support smooth transition of new IT solutions through  working with IT, business  & operational stakeholders
- Manage and lead BA day to day tasks:

- Gathering business and technical requirements.
- Lead capture and elaboration of non-functional requirements with stakeholders.
- Provide detailed requirements specifications.
- Working with technical and design team/QA/PM's in defining project scope.
- Provide technical knowledge and technical support.
- Work closely and collaboratively with designers and architects.
- Work closely with business in determining business needs and requirements to be realised by IT solutions.
- Document and coordinate changes and enhancements of IT services.
- Prepare and present documentation of business/technical presentations.
- Evaluate requirements requests.
- Plan and Co-ordinate small project works
- Ensure methodology compliance with PMO standards.

What we expect from you

- Ability to elicit and clearly document infrastructure systems and services functional and non-functional requirements in a structured requirements document.
- Deep knowledge of requirements elicitation, documentation and traceability throughout the Design and Implementation lifecycle phases.
- Experienced in documenting requirements for technology upgrades and migrations.
- Strong knowledge of applying quality controls to all phase of requirements gathering through to implementation and deployment.
- Strong communications skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with both technical and non-technical members of the team.
- Strong influencing skills across all levels and comfortable to challenge ideas of others.
- Proficient co-ordination of projects, ability to work closely with the business & IT stakeholders to identify and lead technology solutions. 
- Liaise with internal team members, clients and third party vendors to deliver requirements.
- Innovative thinker and can work autonomously when required.
- Excellent time management, organising and planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Understands the challenges of introducing change into IT environments and is experienced in working within change approval processes in the application of changes.
- 2 years working  as a technical Business Analyst
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, technologies and services, inclusive of :
- Windows architecture -  Windows7/10, SCCM, Active Directory, Direct Access , Single Sign-on, Windows upgrades
- Google GSuite
- End-user - Desktop and devices, Security, Remote Access, VPN.
- Network -  Cisco components/MPLS/ High availability.  
- Datacentre technology - VMWare, Firewall/DMZ,  SAN storage, Backup.
- IT Operations  - SLAs, SOPs, Service and Operations transition , ITIL processes.
- Compliance requirements, ideally Sarbanes Oxley (SOx)
