Do you enjoy working on projects from very early stages? Taking ownership of projects from the start and being able to deliver the project all the way to the finish? Do you have experience of working on High End projects from £5 - £40 million? Are you looking up to £110,000 plus package? If so please read on....

My client are looking for a Project Manager to be based out of their Central London office, they have 3-4 tenders that they are almost certain of securing and they need a Project Manager to come in and start working on these projects at an early stage, putting together the programme and packages and then hopefully winning the job to then take it to site.

The client are currently turning over £120 million and have been established for 15 years, they generally work on projects based in zones 1 - 6 and look at projects from £5 - £40 million. They are very well known for taking on extremely challenging projects and delivering them on time and to budget. Personally after meeting with them I feel this is down to how they get their Project Managers to take ownership of projects from a very early stage, much earlier than most other contractors.

The main duties of a Project Manager:

* Be the main point of contact for the client

* Manage and set up all of the health and safety on site

* Appoint the supply chain

* Price the packages working with the Quantity Surveyor

* Setting the programme

* Pushing and monitoring the sub-contractors to make sure they are sticking to the deadlines

I feel this is an ideal opportunity for somebody who is currently working with a company that don't give the Project Manager the autonomy and ownership that they want. Or if you enjoy working with high spec projects up to £40 million and would like the opportunity to work with a privately owned flexible company that reward their staff.
