Trak Employment are currently recruiting for a Retail Assistant with previous experience in a similar role.

Job Purpose:

To provide impeccable Customer Service, move and assemble heavy furniture and maintain accurate stock records.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the smooth running of the company by:
o Handling customer enquiries by email, telephone and in store within 48 hours
o Remerchandising the display each time an item has been sold
o Ensuring all pricing is up to date including signage
o Updating stock information on the website
• Make ready stock for display and customer viewing daily, including the assembly of heavy furniture
• Proactively seek out sales opportunities and contribute to the ongoing success and profitability of the store
• Dismantle and package stock securely for collection or delivery immediately if the customer is instore
• Provide exceptional customer service to brand standards within the outlet on the phone, by email, and in person
• Report any issues with stock to the Factory Outlet Manager
• Maintain Factory Outlet and Warehouse space to a high standard including recycling all waste packaging, maintain cleanliness and health and safety
• Maintain stock inventory information accurately using/on Empirica
• Provide manual handling support to the warehouse assistant and Factory Outlet Manager
• Ensure 100% accuracy on ilink and the EPOS till
• Work with FO Manager to promote the FO to new and existing customers by devising and implementing marketing strategies and by cross selling
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure all sales and customer service issues are resolved efficiently
• Correctly follow procedures for each task in a safe and timely manner

Skills and Attributes:

• Computer literate - experience of working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook to input and manipulate data
• Customer focused with previous customer service experience
• Sales and target focused to achieve KPIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication - English GCSE grade C or above
• Numerate – Maths grade C or above
• Experience of assembling and moving heavy furniture would be useful (manual handling)
• Self-motivated, organised and uses initiative
• Able to work in a fast paced environment to strict deadlines
• Team player
• Attention to detail

Temp to perm position. 4 days per week, 9am-5:30pm during the week and Saturdays 9am-2pm - 2 days off in the week
