Registered residential care manager with a proven background in elderly, dementia care and support, required to manage a large state of the art care home for older adults and people living with dementia in the Dudley Borough.

This service has great access either by public transport or your own vehicle, from Birmingham, Dudley and Wolverhampton and will provide high quality care to it`s residents.

You will join a well respected, care provider of choice who has a significant background within residential care and support for older adults and adults with learning disabilities. You will join an organisation that invests heavily in staff and service development and has secured recognition nationally for their work and support.

You will oversee the operational day to day running of this stunning, person centred residential service and will provide support and guidance to a large, multi-disciplinary staff team. You will promote a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting personal needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity. You will supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to residents, ensure quality and compliance is met and all care is delivered in line with CQC guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be a committed, motivated and compassionate individual who can demonstrate a significant background successfully managing a large residential service for older adults, including adults with a dementia diagnosis. You will be committed to leading by example and the delivery of high quality care an support.

To apply for this vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate a minimum of two years supervisory management experience and at least a minimum of 5 years working in a caring environment with older adults. You will have managed a large residential setting and be skilled in managing referrals from both local authorities and private providers. You will be suitably qualified (RMA, NVQ 4 or QCF level 5 in leadership and management for care services) and possess outstanding CQC knowledge and experience.
Although not essential, a nursing qualification would be desirable for this job role.
