We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer to work on a globally adopted real-time chat platform built in React, Redux and Node.

The successful Senior Front End Developer will join this product team alongside one principal, and two senior, JavaScript engineers, a Product Manager and a UX Designer working on the three distinct partner's pieces of the product. First the Agent Portal SPA, a Slack like system used to control conversation on the B2B side, the consumer facing Chat SPA and the Node messaging APIs that connect the systems together via websockts.

Both of the SPAs are built with React+Redux and about 75% of your hands on work will be on extending and improving these applications with the rest on the Node/KOA messaging APIs between them. They are passionate about TDD using Jest as well as snapshot testing, type-checking with flow and have a well-defined agile environment following Kanban that closely link the features you build directly back to adding value to the business.

We are considering anyone with a background working on large scale JavaScript applications with any modern framework (Angular, Backbone, Vue or React etc.) who has a desire to work with React and Redux. What you will need is a passion for quality first through effective use of agile, TDD/BDD and CI/CD and want to developer yourself into a more full stack engineer learning Node with the team.

The team is flat structured with a culture of openness and collaboration where everyone's opinions is valued. This means you will have real input in architecture and design as well as the best practice that the team follows and how they are implement. If you have a desire to move into tech lead role on large scale project in the future this role is the perfect learning for that.
