Customer Adviser - Carlton / Mapperley

A Customer Adviser is a key position within each and every branch acting as a first point of contact for customers. Whether you have previous experience within a similar role or transferrable skills and experience we will ensure that you receive the very best support, training and development so that you can act within your customer's best interests.

You will be expected to:

* Provide excellent customer service to customers in branch, via the phone and internet and pro-actively follow up all enquiries
* Carry out customer transactions using the branch system in an accurate and timely manner
* Adhere to cash control, audit and security standards
* Achieve sales and appointment generation targets as agreed with the Branch Manager
* Maintain personal sales log and development plan
* To support the branch team, carrying out the duties of a property services adviser when required

We are looking to recruit individuals who can demonstrate -

* Previous experience in a face-to face customer service based role
* An understanding of building society procedures, products and best practice
* Strong customer service skills
* First class communication skills
* Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Capable of working under pressure
* Good IT skills
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
