X 1 37 hours per week based in Caerphilly (Plas Hyfred, Extra Care Scheme) 6 month Contract
Salary: £17,222 per annum

reach provide domiciliary care and support to older people and people with physical disabilities across South East Wales.
For this role, you`ll take on supervisory responsibilities and support staff, as delegated by the Team Manager. This will include 1 to 1`s, Personal Development Plans, induction and mentoring of new starters, nominations for training/learning and development activities, and assisting with the administration of rotas and arranging shift cover.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records for each person supported using in house recording and reporting systems
- Ability to induct, mentor and supervise staff as delegated by the Team Manager
- Desire to support people living independently in their own flats
- Ability to use your own Initiative
- Commitment to enable people we support to maintain their independence, dignity, respect and community presence, in a person-centred way
- Ability to respond to peoples emotional/psychological/social and spiritual needs
- Enthusiastic and positive outlook.
