An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join the team in one of the Province's longest established hotels on the outskirts of Belfast.

It is essential that all candidates meet the following criteria:

6 months Front of House experience gained within the Hospitality/Leisure industry

OR

12 months Receptionist experience dealing with high volume visitors.

An excellent telephone manner is essential with a proven ability to maintain a high standard of service within a busy and challenging environment.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with excellent keyboard skills.

As a key player within the department you will ensure that all visitors are received in a professional manner maintaining a high standard of care at all time. You will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction thus enhancing the standards within the hotel.

Reporting to the Head Receptionist your main duties will include:

Taking reservations and dealing with any booking inquiry in the absence of the Reservations Department
To be conversant with all rates and any special promotions.
Handle all telephone inquiries in an effective and professional manner.
To be aware of the days incoming arrivals.
Generation and distribution of reports.
Maintaining effective communication with internal departments to ensure smooth running of establishment.
Knowledge of daily incoming & outgoing departures as well of functions and special events and promotions

Hours of work 7.00am-3.00pm or 3pm-11pm (5 out of 7 days)
