Your new company

You will be working in a family run care home based in Grimsby, focusing on making a difference to vulnerable service users' lives. You will be joining an organisation that prides itself with ensuring a warm and safe environment, allowing service users to live as independently as possible.

Your new role

As a support worker, you will be working on an ad-hoc basis, as and when shifts need to be covered. You will ensure that residents receive high quality support whilst following strict policies and procedures and encouraging users' independence. You will also carry out risk and needs assessments to promote the health and well being of all service users whilst encouraging the participation in daily activities.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful within this support worker position, you must have had working and referenceable experience within the care sector, being able to support vulnerable individuals and encouraging their independence. You will have strong communication skills and will be able to handle challenging situations effectively. You will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
