Our prestigious client based in Livingston EH54 are looking for an experienced Telesales / Business development executive to join their friendly and supportive sales team to help grow and develop the company moving forward. The company offers excellent value products with the top class customer service support to ensure they are the leader within the marketplace.

Job specification

Building and developing new and existing business relationships to ensure sales growth from across the client board. You will take full responsible for your own accounts (Location area) to ensure that they are trading to maximum potential and resolving any issues/problems that may occur.

Main duties / priorities

* Handling new business enquiries via telephone and internet from the UK
* Contact lapsed clients and try to re-engage to secure business
* Responsible for developing accounts ensuring they are trading and increasing sales year on year where possible
* Liaising with external sales reps to organise visits and developing accounts
* Liaising with accounts department in relation to own accounts
* Liaising with stock control in relation to volume orders

The successful candidate will also be working closely with the marketing department and will need to be familiar with all offers and projects that the marketing team are running as well as attending any trade shows that we will be exhibiting at. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm

Your profile

An ambitious and experienced telesales operative who has a solid track record within the B2B sales environment. Strong track record of achieving sales growth, someone that is keen to continue their progression within the business sector by having the opportunity to work on a large portfolio of prospective clients in a cross-media sell. You will have the ability to close business effectively, be able to demonstrate effective account management and new business development skills.
