Are you looking for a job where you can really make a difference?

We have an exciting opportunity for support workers at this residential service in Horsford, around 15 miles from Norwich. This is a 5 bedroomed bungalow supporting adults with learning disabilities, mobility difficulties, communication and sensory impairments and complex health needs including epilepsy.

You will be providing support for day-to-day living: social activities, sports and hobbies, holidays etc along with support with general household duties such as cooking and cleaning. Personal care will feature.

Please Note: we are in a rural location not served by public transport, therefore it is vital that you are either very local or have your own means of transport.

About Us

CMG is a leading provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, mental health needs, challenging behaviour, profound and multiple learning disabilities and epilepsy.

The people we support live in homely, family-like residences, and are encouraged to participate fully in the local community.

Please note, we are not an agency - we manage our own services, and you will have full access to our training, benefits and career progression opportunities.

About you

Experience in support work is a bonus, but is not essential, as full training is given. We just ask that you share our passion for ensuring that "every moment has potential" in the lives of the people we support.

You will need to be happy to work shifts - including weekends and bank holidays, occasional sleep-in shifts and also undertake personal care.

Why work for CMG?

In addition to your salary, our benefits package includes:
•a pension scheme
•paid annual leave (28 days including bank holidays, rising to 30 days after 1 year)
•childcare vouchers
•reward/recognition schemes
•staff discount scheme

We also have excellent opportunities for career progression.

Some care providers expect you to travel between your clients and only pay you for the time you are actually working. At CMG, you will work at one service, allowing consistency for both you and the people we support, and you will be paid for your full shift (full time staff work 5 x 7.5 hour shifts in a week.) Occasionally you may be asked to work a shift at a nearby service if a staffing need arises.
