My name is Kirsty and I am looking for a special type of person who is naturally caring and interested in working in the care field. My client is a charity run large care home provider. This Charity has services in Yorkshire, this particular job is based in Rotherham and you would be there to support adults with Learning Disabilities, Complex Needs, Physical Disabilities, Dementia, Mental Health and Autism.

If you are looking for a fulltime or part time job, that's great, we have a variety of different contracted hours. Your main responsibility is to ensure the happiness and comfort of these adults with learning difficulties, which can be managed in a variety of ways. This job could be anything from helping them within their own living space to assisting them in accessing the community. For example you would be helping them with their cleaning, cooking, helping them to apply for jobs and taking them into the Harrogate area and helping them with their daily routine. You will realise that each resident has a unique and fantastic personality and you will be encouraged to do whatever you can to ensure that they are growing as an individual. You will celebrate birthdays, be creative, be playful and overall provide the best care that you can. It is a very rewarding job and you will find the job role extremely satisfying.

You must have at least a years experience working within the care field and be comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
