My clients in the centre of Cardiff is looking to recruit a Stock Ledger Assistant to help the finance team at this busy time. You will be working in a vibrant and fast peace environment.

The role will exist of:

* Verify the accuracy of stock ledgers of retail branches
* Provide a support/advisory function to branches when updating their stock ledger system
* Collation of the results of branch stock counts
* Provide scheduled and ad hoc stock ledger analysis for management
* Assistance in month end reporting around stock and provisions
* Provide financial accounting assistance to the divisional finance team as required

Key Responsibilities and Objectives of this role will be that you will be the first point of contact for the branch queries regarding the stock ledger. You will also need to Preparation and analysis of the stock figures for the management reporting on a weekly monthly basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join an established Professional Services company in Cardiff.

Other key responsibly will include:

* Investigate and resolve queries from branches about the stock ledger and any stock related processes
* Update the stock ledger for manual postings, queries and with amendments for errors made by branches
* Preparation and reconciliation of the results of physical stock counts to the stock ledger
* Collation and reporting of the results of stock counts to the Loss Prevention department and Retail team
* Provide any ad hoc reports requested by the Loss Prevention department
* Create and maintain procedure documents.
* Provide support to Financial Accounts team when required
* Any other ad hoc tasks as required
