Are you a hard-working Support Worker looking for a permanent, full-time job in Hereford area? Are you passionate about helping those in need of extra support to live a fulfilling life? These full time, permanent vacancies are based within the picturesque village of Wormelow, just 7 miles from Hereford. This can be a very challenging and complex service, which will give you the opportunity to hone and develop your skills and knowledge in specialist fields including:

- Autistic Spectrum Disorders
- Mental health needs
- Complex needs & physical disabilities
- Challenging behaviour

You will be supported by an experienced and fully qualified Manager, who has a great relationship with both local professionals and our service users, and has worked in the two local services for 8 years in total. The home has fantastic therapeutic services including hydrotherapy and sensory-based, with an overall 'relaxed' feel.

- Clear communication with the people you support using appropriate methods, including tact, empathy and diplomacy. This may include using specialist communication methods
- Assisting with individuals care, including personal care and assisting with bathing (where the individual requires this) in order to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
- Carrying out duties in compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and subsequent
- Participating and arranging daily outings, activities, holidays or recreational pursuits when required in order to assist the people you support with all aspects of their daily life


- EITHER experience with challenging learning disabilities OR mental health needs (or both!)
- A confident, positive and resilient character
- Able to work flexible shift patterns including earlies, lates and nights
- Full driving licence which has been clean for the last 3 years
