An amazing opportunity has arisen to join one of Manchester’s most prestigious boutique hotels in the heart of the city. They are looking for an extremely ambitious individual for the Restaurant Supervisor position. The Restaurant supervisor is to work harmoniously with the Restaurant Manager and head chef and all other departmental supervisors and team members, to be accountable and responsible as directed for the effective supervision of the catering function of the hotel.

The Restaurant Supervisor must have experience and a working knowledge of catering supervision and leadership practices, catering and restaurant practices, kitchen and bars management, hotel products & services, customer service techniques and equipment operations. Must be customer focused, a good communicator, and committed to the development and quality of service as a market differential and business ethos.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

• Restaurant team morale and efficiency.

• Food quality and presentation standards.

• Delivery of customer service standards.

• Product purchasing and cost management & control.

• Product training and skill coaching.

• Regular kitchen, restaurant and bar checks carried out.

The role will require flexibility to meet the businesses requirements including weekend work, and be available to cover duty management shifts as required
