A Purchase Ledger Assistant position is available within a great business in Barnsley who are manufacturers and suppliers of specialist equipment for a large sector. Due to their expansion, they are adding to their Accounts Payable function. This role would work closely with one of the Assistant Accountants and would ultimately report into the Finance Manager.

The Role:-

- Ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices with delivery tickets and purchase orders
- Statement reconciliations
- Weekly BACS runs
- Completing new supplier templates including bank verification
- Communicate with both internal and external customers
- Scanning
- General office duties

The Person:-

- Ideally have purchase ledger experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work as a team and manage own workload effectively
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- IT Literate and good Excel skills

Hours of Work:-

Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Salary:-

£16,000 - £18,000
