Permanent Security Officer required in Harlow!

You MUST hold a valid and up to date S.I.A Security / Door Supervisor License!

CCTV License Desirable!

Hours available 40 - 49 hours per week.

Salary: £8.59 per hour

Purpose of the role:

Assisting with the smooth running of the workplace and assisting with all emergency situations when they occur. This includes providing a visible point of contact for customer service issues in the centre, handling enquiries and customer concerns, assisting with security incidents, monitoring CCTV and controlling contractors and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake regular patrols of the workplace, service yards and car parks.
• Fully comply with the Health and Safety Policy for the client in accordance with the health and safety procedures manual.
• Ensuring all fire regulations are strictly complied with.
• Provide immediate assistance for any emergency call-outs and incidents.
• Ensuring all incidents are recorded in the record book.
• Assisting with enquiries from the public, if required.
• To be aware and abide by the rules, terms and conditions of the company.
• To be flexible for working hours covering 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
• To be available at late notice to cover emergency shifts.

Key Skills:

• Good communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of people from colleagues, to management, customers, tenants and contractors.
• Experience in a customer service environment and dealing with members of the public.
• Working in a team and individually.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working patterns.

Desirable:

• First Aid Qualification.
• S.I.A CCTV License.
• Maths and English – GCSE’S of equivalent.
• Experience on computer programmes such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
