Our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Reception Manager to join our Front Office Team at their prestigious 5* resort located in Newport , Wales

The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of the luxury hotel market, have excellent customer and interpersonal skills and someone who is a natural team leader. In this role you will be responsible for managing all the operational aspects of the Reception Desk in our 5* Resort.

Having a naturally friendly manner and calm, confident personality, combined with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service will make you an ideal candidate for this role. Your experience in a similar position at a 4 or 5 star property will allow you to demonstrate evidence of excellent people management skills and the ability to deal with the pressures of day-to-day issues.

The successful candidate will ensure that the reception team provide an efficient and 5* service providing the ultimate guest service experience for all our customers.

They will contribute to the strategy of the department through support and implementation of requirements set by their manager.

As Assistant Reception Manager you will have experience of working with ‘Opera’ system and have experience of working in a similar sized establishment.

Please note this position is Maternity cover and for 6 - 12 months
