Our Client is an International Banking is looking to hire a Customer Officer to join their team in Birmingham,

Job Purpose

To contribute to the units business goals by effectively managing key prospective and existing relationships in order to ensure achievements of targets in terms of profit, income and trade volumes. To develop, enhance and maintain relationships with existing and new clients and manage the quality of assets in the portfolio.

Description

* Coordinate marketing of products and services to all clients within the portfolio with the objective to maximize revenue/return.
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to ensure revenue/ profit targets are met/ exceeded.
* Ensure that all documentation for credit proposals is complete and monitor to ensure that a shortfall in the value of security does not occur through the life of a credit.
* Initiate & Prepare credit approval notes for clients.
* Analyse the client's financial statements and management practices to assess the credit risk and ensure that the credit quality of the portfolio is not compromised.
* Ensure that all credit applications (including renewals) are correctly prepared in accordance with bank policy and regulatory framework.
* Assist & provide Backup to the Cashier & Operations department so that Teller leave cover is fully catered for.
* Conduct Account Opening Interviews, review individual resident account opening documents & complete the Account Opening process.
* Prepare File Notes for all compliance Exception Report reviews.
* Ensure Complaint Management System is updated and customer complaints are responded to promptly and professionally by the branch.
* Establish a service function to bring the greatest impact on customer experience.
* Establish systems and procedures for continuous improvement in service quality.
* Ensure the provision of distinctive financial, banking and advisory services to customers.
* Self-motivated and fostering team-work for the achievement of assigned goals of the unit.
* Provide regular updates to branch manager on the performance of the accounts allocated.

Minimum experience:

* Good academic grades with Banking experience
* Decision Making Skills
* Good Communication Skills
* Assistant Relationship Management Skills
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Multi-Lingual - with Good spoken skills in Urdu/Hindi
