ROLE: Technical Lead in Aircaft Integration
LOCATION: Stevenage

I am recruiting for a company that is in search of an experienced Technical Lead in Aircraft Integration to work in a competitive industry. During this role you will be conducting and need to possess the following:

Reporting from a project perspective to the Chief Engineer and to the Head of Platform Integration UK, the Head of Aircraft Integration (CPI) is responsible for the management and co-ordination of the client's technical activities to achieve the integration of a weapon system onto UK and export air
platforms.
Responsible to the Chief Engineer for support and advice on Aircraft Integration issues.
Responsible for the conduct the client's support to each of the integration programmes and ensuring, as far as possible, their success in terms of cost, timescale and the technical solution.
Identification of the key risks associated with integration programmes and develop proposals for their management.
Responsible for the technical programme interface with each of the Aircraft Design Authorities.
Responsible for the overall system behaviour of the weapon when integrated onto the air platform, including managing any system level studies to support the integration (LAR's, 'installed performance', etc.)
Responsible for the generation and maintenance of the Integration Requirement Spec and Interface Control Document and other technical documents which govern the integration activities.
Responsible for the provision of all missile equipment's into the integration programmes albeit this may be contracted by separate
means outside the direct control, and ensuring that it is fit for purpose for the integration task.
Responsible for the management of the Integration support team and the associated hardware tasks and contracts

JOB ROLE:

REQUIREMENTS:
Degree qualified, or equivalent.
Good knowledge of aircraft integration processes
Good all-round System Engineering background.
Demonstrated technical competence to communicate at all levels both inside and outside the company, both in technical and process areas.
Capability to influence team members and stakeholders from across the Brimstone project (Internal senior management, Customer, Aircraft Design Authorities).
Strong leadership skills
Ability to develop and deliver rational programmes of work, managing the risks and taking mitigation
Good negotiating skills
