dnata Travel, part of the Emirates Group, is recruiting for a Copywriter based in central London to support the brands of Travelbag and Netflights. reporting into the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for improving the performance of our natural search channel (SEO) through the creation, development and measurement of SEO-optimized and editorially relevant content across all our digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating attractive and artistic content grasping the reader's attention which is suitable to use across all digital channels
  • Ensuring all travel content meets SEO best practice guidelines and is aligned with brand strategies
  • Producing a content marketing schedule in line with the overall marketing strategy
  • Carrying out keyword research and reviewing Google Ad Words performance for new opportunities
  • Developing additional marketing collateral where required to optimize copy including briefing design studio
  • Proof reading and copy checking

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Excellent editorial skills, with a sound understanding of writing for the web
  • The ability to produce content that engages users across varying online formats - web pages, banners, multimedia and email
  • Basic Html editing skills & content management via various CMS
  • Ability to work on own initiative, and within a flat team structure
  • Confident in contributing ideas and able to pick up new skills and concepts quickly
  • Exceptional English and grammar skills and an eye for detail
  • Experience of producing commercial copy for a variety of audiences/purposes
  • Experience in establishing a tone of voice
  • Experience in managing external agencies and partners
  • Good geographical and destination knowledge
  • Branding/marketing aware to understand the brands' audiences.
  • Ability to follow project guidelines and adhere to best practices
  • Understanding of search engine optimization and generally web-literate
  • Creative thinker
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet very tight deadlines
  • Versatile and happy to contribute to creative discussions outside the immediate remit (i.e. providing input to designs and concepts)
