Case Worker - Supporting Troubled Families

Location: Surrey Covering Merton, Sutton, Kingston, Richmond

REF: 18019

Tenure: Permanent - 37.5 Hours per Week

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 - depending on experience and IAG Qualification

Our client who has been a major within the sector for over 15 years is now seeking a Case Worker Managerto join their revamped and rebranded team.

Specialising with Government funded services across Skills, Youth Provisions, Employability and Enterprise; our client is truly an award-winning organisation who are making key differences within their specialism.


As a Case Worker, you will be helping troubled families back into employment through 121 support, mentoring, group activities. You will help to build skills, motivation and confidence back into the lives of your customers. Working on the ESF Contract you will be completing inductions onto the programme.

This position will be covering the Surrey area, main office will be based in Sutton but you will need to travel to Merton, Richmond and Kingston as part of your role will be engaging with local employers gaining vacancies for your customers.

You will be the key face of the team to represent our clients brand to employers across Surrey. You will be creating, managing, building and developing key relationships through your consultative approach. This role is proactive and you will need to network, have client visits and build new relationships as well as maintaining existing rapport.


Understanding of DWP/ESF/EFA contracting and contract delivery.

Experience working within a driven targeted environment.

IAG qualification is a plus but if not our client will offer this qualification to you.

Experience working with customers facing barriers back into employment.
