Job Title: Pharmacy Services - Apprenticeship Course Leader
Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £28,929 - £35,553 per annum 
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent 

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a Great College on an exciting new role in the Essex area.

Starting immediately, the client is looking for an outstanding Pharmacy Services - Apprenticeship Course Leader to join them on a permanent basis. 

The College:

Our Clients recent Ofsted inspection which has declared the college as “Good” in every single category including: Student Outcomes (results and standards of work); Teaching and Learning; Leadership and Management; and Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare. Inspectors also looked separately at Apprenticeship provision courses for Adults, and Study Programmes for the 4,000 full time 16-19-year-old students at the College, and stated that all of these were also “Good”.

The Role:

· To lead on the development of Pharmacy Apprenticeships
· To teach, assess and track apprentices towards agreed qualifications and engage in professional development in relation to teaching, learning and assessment
· To competently and professionally liaise with employers and customers by attending network events and assist with the promotion of apprenticeships via social media forums
· To monitor apprentices progress including carrying out regular progression reviews, target setting
· To ensure timely completion of apprenticeship programmes including: effective target setting, early detection/monitoring of learners at risk and appropriate reporting to area heads. To ensure maintenance of documentation and records relating to this provision, utilising college data systems to ensure accurate reporting.

What you will need:

· A recognised teaching qualification
· Assessors award
· Level 3 qualification or above in Pharmacy services/Pharmaceutical Science
· Must be registered with the GPhC as a pharmacist/pharmacy technician
· Experience and knowledge of the apprenticeship framework and programmes with the Pharmacy sector.
· Previous experience of delivering teaching /training and assessing in the workplace or college setting.
· Evidence of experience of quality assurance in education or equivalent within your workplace ie OFSTED
