Our client based in Ipswich is currently looking to strengthen their thriving account handling team by appointing an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Comply with regulatory and other standards as directed by line management including the creation of accurate and timely policy document, premium invoicing and debiting
· Identify improvements in Client risk and insurance programme design and make recommendations to the Client Management team on actions necessary to achieve this
· Negotiate renewal terms, mid-term adjustments and cover extensions in accordance with the National Broking Strategy,
· Identify revenue development opportunities on allocated Client accounts and make recommendations to Client Managers
· Build effective working relationships with other company specialist areas of business

Skill & Experience Required:
· Minimum of 3 years commercial insurance experience, ideally dealing with liability and/or property
· A thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of commercial package and commercial combined insurance
· Experience of working with liability and property insurance (preferred)
· Excellent communication skills with a real desire for customer service and quality
· A good team player, prepared to assist colleagues when necessary
· Proven ability to convert enquiries and building a rapport with potential clients
