Winners! Recruitment are working in partnership with this instantly recognisable local brand in order to recruit a Credit Controller into their growing, commercial finance team.
Based in modern, well-appointed offices in Indian Queens and reporting to the Financial Controller the Credit Controller will be responsible for the managing of credit accounts and ensuring that outstanding payments are kept to a minimum.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Setting up of new customer accounts, setting and agreeing terms and credit limits, account management in order to ensure contact details are correct and that information is available to ensure timely payments.
Updating daily debtors list working towards continual driving down of debtor days.
Negotiating and agreeing payment plans, where necessary.
Reporting on debtor days and cash flow to the Financial Controller.
Receipting and logging of payments to Sales Ledger.
Letters of credit and preparation of information for recoveries and legal process.
This is a fast-paced, customer focused role. Already experienced in Sales Ledger/Credit Control and familiar working with both high volume/low value and low volume/high value accounts it is envisaged that the successful applicant will be of a positive and diligent nature, able to work with instruction and without supervision.
You will be confident, possessing excellent communication whether on the phone, in writing or in person along with solid working command of MS Office (word & excel) and a financial reporting package.
