Established in 1997, GMé - which is a shortened version of Golf Management Europe - is read by golf course owners, operators, directors of golf and general managers at golf clubs throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and is widely regarded as the leading B2B magazine for the golf industry.
Published in printed and digital formats, the magazine has established itself as an informative and trusted source of industry news and views, and we are seeking a reliable individual to continue the magazines growth, as the title enters its 20th year of publication.
Interested candidates should have the ability to sell advertising space to a wide cross-section of industry suppliers, whilst conducting themselves in a professional and courteous manner. Working remotely, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they can work independently, whilst enjoying the full support and guidance of the publisher. As an established title in the sector, the successful candidate could earn a good income - working the hours he or she chooses - all from home, but a commitment to the role is essential, as to, is a proven work ethic.
A small monthly salary to cover expenses will be paid, plus a generous level of commission. An interest in golf would be advantageous, although not essential, as opportunities to attend golf days and golf events would present themselves on a regular basis.
Previous advertising sales experience would be advantageous, and the position would better suit a home-worker who is available during the hours of 9am - 1pm.
