Regional Director - Outdoor Media Sales (Northern England Area)
A fantastic opportunity at one of the UK's leading Outdoor Media Companies. It is essential the candidate has strong Media Sales Experience.
The role will cover Newcastle, Liverpool and Northampton areas (with occasional travel to North Wales) so the ideal candidate will be in this area.
He/she will be responsible for a team of 15 so previous management skills would also be essential.
This role will undertake the following key responsibilities
Manage the team through the Sales Manager agreeing sales performance and revenue targets and using metrics to monitor performance
Communicate a clear direction to motivate and enhance the performance of the teams
Provide accurate short, medium and long term forecasts
Monthly one to ones with sales manager
Weekly (skype ) meetings with team Monthly team meetings
Work in conjunction with the franchise team by contributing support to develop a regional plan to win new contacts
Develop relationships with regional franchise partners
Become the company Local Ambassador making them famous in their region Network with other regional leaders across all industries
Develop partnerships & sponsorships
Win local, regional and national awards
Work in conjunction with finance to reduce ad debt, late payment and credits across both clients and direct agencies
Weekly reviews with Head of Bi, Inventory Manager and Commercial Manager providing support for ongoing regional growth strategies
Attend monthly Regional Director Meetings
Create training and development for all team members
Own the Induction plan and probationary period for every sales person in their region
Build a talent pipeline
Write and deliver a three year regional sales and marketing strategy covering: P & L Performance Yield & trading management, Commercial awareness, Increase in market share, New Revenue opportunities
