I'm Recruiting for an established National software provider for insurance companies and broker based in Yorkshire. They currently work with 8 of the top 10 businesses within their target market.

Due to an internal move within the company, they're looking for an experienced Business Development/Inside Sales Consultant or graduate applicants to join their team in Birmingham. You will act as the bridge between the Marketing and the Insurer New Business Team. There are great career opportunities at the company, with a clear trajectory in place.

Your role will include the following duties:
* Identify target customers through your own research.
* Cold calling potential companies to fact find and establish if they're a worthy client targets.
* Generate qualified sales leads to hand for the Business Development Consultants
* Ensure information on the CRM is up to date.
* Be the central point of contact for information on key competitors and competitive data.
* Network and attend industry events to source information and new contacts

The ideal candidate will have:
* Software services and/or insurance industry knowledge is desirable.
* Graduation educated with sales experience/training
* Industry awareness of other organisation's competitive products and services.
* Sales or telesales background
