An OUTSTANDING client of mine based in Southwark are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Mathematics teacher to join their mathematics department starting in September 2017.

The Position

The successful Mathematics Teacher will be joining this secondary school in September on a full-time, permanent contract and you will be required to deliver the National Curriculum up to A-level, making positive contributions to the department and its vision. The classes you will be teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 are of mixed ability and you will therefore require to manage differentiation efficiently.

Your timetable will be solely Mathematics and you will have the opportunity to use a fully resourced department in order to plan lessons and obtain the necessary materials that you feel will benefit your students. The school have a laid back approach to how teachers wish to deliver their lessons and believe that their teachers should use the method they feel most effective and that they are most comfortable with.

The Mathematics Teacher

To be considered for the post of Mathematics Teacher, you must have a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status following the completion of your teacher training. You will have a strong subject knowledge and the ability to confidently teach Mathematics up to A-level within a fast-paced and energetic department that is renowned for getting the best out of its students.
