Solution Design Engineer and Sales Engineer
£45,000 per annum plus benefits

In this role of Solution Design & Sales Engineer you are responsible for supporting the sales team in wining expansions and new business across Europe. Together, with the sales executives in charge of the opportunity you will work on designing and presenting the solution that meets the prospects business requirements for new business or expansions.

As a Solution Design Engineer you will become an expert in my clients Vendor Management technology solution. You will deliver convincing product demonstrations to prospective new clients. You will actively contribute to RPFs by bringing your product and services knowledge and expertise and understanding of the client and prospects business needs.

In this position you will ideally, but not exclusively, focus on Benelux and UK region. Dutch and/or German proficiency are therefore mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure client business needs and requirements are well understood & documented during the sales process
Perform product demonstrations in front of business and technical audiences
Ensure that solutions design aspects of RFPs fully meet client requirements
Demonstrate deep product and market knowledge to clients
Build relationships with key MSP partner contacts and particularly Solution Engineers and ensure they have up-to-date knowledge on the product and service offering
Support as a subject matter expert in implementations if required


Native Dutch or German speaker - Fluent in English
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in articulating the value of (SaaS) technology to potential buyers
The ideal candidate has business experience & knowledge with as many as the following:
SaaS business applications solutions
e-procurement platforms, VMS, ATS and / or HR management platform
Procurement / procurement departments in multinational companies
Understanding of the HR and/ or Contingent Workforce Management markets including MSP and RPO

Technical competence (understand software, processes, integrations etc)
Very good presentation skills / Used to present in front of senior/executive audiences
Team player, ability to meet deadlines, punctual, attention to detail, organized, fluent communicator with ability to build relationships.
Proven understanding of business drivers
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to think outside the norm and offer new solutions to issues
