A Server Engineer is now required to join a leading IT Solutions and Services organisation in Worcestershire.

My client have heavily invested on their site and offer excellent, refurbished working facilities and you will be working with the latest technologies to stay ahead of the competition.

The successful Server Engineer will be joining my clients busy remote support team, supporting their large customer base throughout the UK performing duties such as giving operational advice and technical support to remotely resolve any issues.

Server Engineers Key Responsibilities…

• Prioritising, troubleshooting and resolving customer IT issues in line with SLA's

• Logging incident details, keeping records and updating documentation

• Working knowledge of Windows Server 2003 – 2012 R2 including SBS and related client operating systems

• Expertise in Active Directory, Server Roles and Exchange

• Knowledge of Virtualisation Technologies – Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix is desirable

• Knowledge of anti-virus products in a business environment (software and virus removal)

• Experience of configuring and supporting Office products, particularly Outlook and 365

• Knowledge of supporting other Microsoft products (Sharepoint, SQL etc) is desirable
