A fast-growing and ambitious managed service provider based in Leeds city centre is looking for a Network Support Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team.

This is a key role in supporting the smooth running of their busy Network Operations Centre, providing support and incident management to customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• 2nd Line technical escalations
• Incident call handling of customer networks and applications
• Fault diagnostics
• Incident management and resolution
• Major incident management and communication
• Development of ITSM systems

You will also be well-versed in change and control management, assisting pre-sales with detailed specifications and managing communication between customers and external parties.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of technical and professional principles
• Knowledge of LANs and WANs
• Knowledge of WiFi
• Knowledge of routing and switching
• CCNP qualified
• Troubleshooting

It would also be advantage if you had a working knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft, Silver Peak, Meraki and IPT.

A great telephone manner and well developed customer liaison skills are a ‘must-have’ in this role as is the ability to work under your own initiative.
