Leading process automation projects within an assembly environment for a leading manufacturing company

Your new company
A market leader in the design, development and manufacture of specialist electro-mechanical devices for the industrial manufacturing sector. This is an opportunity to join the business in their assembly area leading process automation projects.

Your new role
Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, justifying, designing and implementing automation projects in the assembly area of the company. This could be the automation or semi-automation of existing production processes to improve efficiency, quality and output. You'll also support the business by re-training production staff and supporting other teams through the change process.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a Degree/HND qualified manufacturing/production engineer with a track record of successfully introducing automated and semi-automated processes into a manufacturing environment (ideally an electro-mechanical assembly based environment). Ideally, you'll also be familiar with process flow, Lean manufacturing techniques and ERP systems.
