Electrical bias static engineer – London – 35k.


My client is a mechanical & electrical engineering company who have been established for 50 years, providing service, maintenance and breakdown services to there wide portfolio of clients within Central London.


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Electrical maintenance engineer to work on a 2 man site on one of London`s most prestigious sites on a multi tenanted office.  The ideal candidate would have an electrical background but also mechanical equipment as you would be carrying out service and maintenance to all electrical and mechanical equipment, with experience of working on cooling towers being ideal.


Ideally they are looking for someone who is available as of 26rd of June as they would need a week handover as the site goes live on 3rd of July.



Typical duties on site




-             Emergency light test

-              UPS

-              BMS

-              1st and 2nd fix on lighting

-              Pumps & Motors





Service and repair of mechanical equipment (AHU`S, Basic Plumbing, Water temp checks, heating systems)


The ideal candidate would have the following:


-          17th Edition

-           Electrical Qualifications level 2 city and guilds or NVQ`s.

-          On site experience 1st and 2nd fix

-          To be able to work unsupervised & as part of a team


The typical shift pattern would be 8-5 one week and the next 7 till 4 with no call out.
