Elevation Office Support are currently working with a major Gas distribution organisation in the search for an experienced Engineering Scheduler at their site based near the Chesterfield area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving business who continue to grow as part of a global group.

This role will take responsibility for planning and coordinating maintenance works for their clients. The incumbent will oversee the engineering rota in order to organise call outs efficiently with the aim to minimise stand-by time and ensure customer service levels are maintained to a high standard.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will contribute to the delivery of c500 projects throughout the year.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Managing engineering schedules
- Organising subcontractors where required
- Overseeing engineering works carried out, following up on chargeable activities
- Arranging resource for engineers call outs
- Manage and maintain equipment required for maintenance works

We would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences:

- Minimum three years' experience working within a planning / scheduling for an engineering based company
- Ability to organise rotas and transport plans
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven experience of problem solving and decision
- Excellent communication skills
