Skyex resourcing are currently working on behalf of a wonderful National organisation with over twenty years' experience in helping people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, Physical Disabilities, and Complex Health Needs. The Role

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager for their Complex Care and Autism Residential Scheme in Blurton, Stoke on Trent. Service Users have a variety of needs for which they will require varying levels of support. The Assistant Manager will be required to complete person centred assessments of need in line with promoting independence, empowering individuals, and effective risks management.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the referral process to provide efficient and timely screening of referrals for appropriateness, and to ensure effective and professional communication with referral and purchasing authorities about the services and other services in the group.
* Ensure proper service delivery to users in line with a Positive Behavioural Support model.
* Ensure compliance with the Company quality assurance and improvement process and preferred practices, such as Quality Audit, user reviews, PCP's, and CQC annual reports.
* Raise to the attention of senior management serious risk management issues and participatein the development of plans of action.
* Manage programme compliance with company policies and procedures and standards.


* NVQ Level 3 or Higher
* Knowledge of National Minimum Care Standards as established by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
* Experience working at a Senior position within Social Care either at Assistant Manager or Team Leader level.
* Experience working within Residential and Supported Living environments is desirable.
* Experience working with the Learning Disabilities client group is also desirable.
