Sous Chef

We are on the lookout for an experienced Sous Chef to join one of Glasgow’s favourite restaurants. Specialising in high quality Scottish seasonal produce, our client has consistently outstanding trip advisor reviews, and you will therefore need to be at the top of your game to succeed in this restaurant, which has become an established part of the Finnieston strip.

As a Sous Chef with one of Glasgow’s most popular eating establishments, your key responsibilities would be to deputise in the Head Chef’s absence, therefore, leadership skills and creativity will be key strengths if you are to be the successful candidate. Your main objective will be ensuring efficient and profitable food service through effective kitchen operations.

As a successful Sous Chef with our client you will have a strong support network, which will encourage you to direct and participate in planning menus based on fresh, local Scottish produce utilising all of your creative skills and imagination.

To succeed in this role as Sous Chef you will most likely have demonstrable experience of operating within a busy city centre restaurant or hotel environment, and will most likely have formal training in culinary arts, though, this is not essential, especially if you can demonstrate your skills and expertise in the kitchen.
